Volunteer Program

Chetana Children Center (CCC) Volunteer Programs offer a unique opportunity for interested individuals, couples, groups and organizations to make a contribution to Nepali society. Volunteers simultaneously experience the rich culture, natural splendor daily life of Nepal, one of the most beautiful countries of the world.

The degree to which volunteers contribute to Nepali communities varies according to motivation and personal capacity; however, no experience is necessary and CCC strongly encourages all applicants. In fact, we only have two requirements for our volunteers:

1) a positive outlook and

2) a strong desire to help Orphanage in Nepal.

All volunteers will enjoy a unique opportunity for travel, adventure and exploration (both geographical and self-exploration). Every year, a large number of international volunteers join the Chetna Children Center Volunteers program and return home with everlasting memories

Volunteering fees.

We charge our volunteers a nominal amount for raising funds. Our organization has no external funding and no governmental support. We are relying on the volunteer program fees to be able to work and carryout all of our projects, and help the children in their areas.
We are trying very hard to keep our costs down because it realizes volunteers are making a big sacrifice and have saved for a long time to come to Nepal.
The cost we quote is in US Dollars and Euros but we do accept payment in either currencies. Registration fee will secure your place on the program.

Why pay to volunteer?

Volunteering In the CCC, you will incur many costs such as food, accommodation, transportation, transfers, project selection etc. We charge you the fee, all the money goes into providing you all these services.

Money is also spend on:-

Advertising Online/Offline
Children’s education, food, stationary, sports etc.
Health care of children and staff
Pay the house rent
Salaries for staff
Communication with volunteers and partners, by phone/email etc.
Government taxes
Credit Card processing charges
In country maintenance of offices, vehicles etc.

The cost does not include.

The government has also revised existing tourist visa fee to be effective from 16th July, 2008.
