Chetana: A Nepali word which means Consciousness, Knowledge and Awareness; So as the meaning goes. Chetana Children Center (CCC) is a non-governmental, non profit making, non political, independent and autonomous social organization through which it tries and works to create awareness among the children. So, CCC is a lap for the children. This organization has been legally registered in District Administrative Office, Kaski, Nepal as per the Institution Registration Act 1986 (Reg. No: 1267) and also associated with Social Welfare Council (SWC), Kathmandu (No: 16068).

CCC is committed to provide an opportunity for the Poor, Needy, Socially dominated (Schedule castes and tribes) and above all the Orphans. It looks for a way to make them skilled by identifying their interest and skill to become self dependent and also an able citizen who can lead a dignified life. CCC works directly with children at risk for their Rescue, Support, Socialization, Rehabilitation and also Social re-integration.

A Child becomes a pillar for a better tomorrow; So, CCC believes that working for them is just not a charitable action but one which can bring about social change.
